Download
One installer, signed, with its fingerprint on this page. Free to play.
The download is not published yet. When the first release is signed and put up, this button and the facts beside it fill in by themselves; until then there is nothing to download here.

What the installer does
- Puts the game in one folder in the usual place for programs on your account, with a shortcut on the Start menu and, if you tick it, the desktop. Nothing goes anywhere else on the disk.
- On first launch it downloads the game files and checks each against a signed list, so what runs is what we built. Later updates are the same: download, check, run.
- It installs nothing in the background: no service, no startup entry, no browser extension, and nothing that runs when the game is closed.
- To remove it, use Windows' own Apps list (Settings, Apps, Installed apps), the same as any program. It takes its folder with it.
Check what you downloaded
The installer is signed, and Windows shows the publisher's name above when you run it; it should read exactly as "Signed by" says. To check the file itself, open a PowerShell window in your Downloads folder and runGet-FileHash .\ParadoxSetup.exe: the long number it prints should match the SHA-256 above, letter for letter. If either does not match, do not run it, and tell us atsecurity@paradox.ps.
My antivirus warned me
It can happen, and here is the honest reason. Antivirus software scores a file on three things: whether it is signed, how many people have run it before, and what it does. A small game from a new publisher starts with little reputation, so the first few thousand downloads of each new version can get a "we have not seen this file often" warning (Windows calls it SmartScreen) even when nothing is wrong. It fades as more people run it, and we send every new release to Microsoft's review so it fades faster.
What to do:
- Check the publisher name and the SHA-256 as above. If both match, the file is ours.
- On a SmartScreen screen, "More info" shows the publisher; "Run anyway" continues. A quarantined file can be restored from your antivirus's own history once you have checked it.
- If a warning names a specific threat rather than an unknown file, stop and send us a screenshot atsecurity@paradox.ps. We would rather hear about a false alarm than have you guess.
What we will never do: tell you to turn your antivirus off, send you a file over Discord or a file host, or give you a download that is not listed on this page.
Mac and Linux
Windows only for now. The game is Java and runs on both under the hood, but we have not built, signed or tested an installer for either, so we do not offer one. When we do, it appears here; until then, a Windows virtual machine works.
